Ascot Chase 2010 Next Running: 15:15 Ascot - Sat February 20th, 2010

 Betting Preview

A field of six to contest the Ascot Chase on Saturday at Ascot racecourse with the Phillip Hobbs trained Planet Of Sound looking to reap revenge on Albertas Run after the pair met in November in the Amlin 1965 Chase with Albertas Run coming out on top that day.

Trained by Jono ONeill, Albertas Run has a two from two record at Ascot which must be a positive for this nine year old, he is a capable sort and can deliver some terrific runs when and if he want to.

Monets Garden was beaten into sixth place last time out in the Amlin 1965 Chase, this twelve year old won this race in 2007 and runner up in 2008. Trained by Nicky Richards he needs to find some consistancy these days.

Alan King runs Oh Crick, Paul Nicholls Herecomesthetruth while Bob Bucklers The Sawyer complete the field.
