Distance: 1m 2f The Winter Derby is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for four-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 2 furlongs at Lingfield Park Racecourse. It was first run in 1998 and attained Group 3 status in 2006. It is one of three British Pattern races which are now regularly contested on an all-weather surface, along with the September Stakes and the Sirenia Stakes at Kempton Park. |
