The Dante Stakes is a Group 2 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbreds.
It was first run in 1958 and is named after Dante, the Yorkshire-trained winner of the Epsom Derby in 1945.
This is a notoriously difficult race to predict as the horses are often very lightly raced and open to improvement.
Odds-on favourites have a nasty habit of getting turned over here!
Trainer Trend: Sir Michael Stoute has won twice in the last six years.
Favourite Trend: The favourite has won the last three of the last six races but odds-on favourites have a poor record in this race.
Weight Trend: Range: 8-11 - 9-0.
Official Rating Trend: Two horses with no Official Rating have won in the last six years. The other three had a range of 85-117.
