The Chester Vase is a Group 3 flat horse race for three-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings.
First run in 1907, it is now one of several recognised trial races for the Epsom Derby although there have been no horses in recent history to have competed in the Chester Vase which have gone on to win the Epsom Derby.
Trainer Trend: CE Brittain has won this race twice in the last six years as has Sir Michael Stoute.
Favourite Trend: The favourite has won the last three but prior to that, it has been won by a horse outside the top three in the betting.
Weight Trend: Range: 8-10 - 9-2
